Dark Greetings Brotherhood,

Some of you may remember that shortly after the split between the DB and EH, our DB provided 'Training Lightsabers' to members that passed a certain course. Well with the changing of sites it seems that the idea of Training Sabers has all but been forgotten, that is until yesterday. After some discussion about the matter with both Death and Czul, the three of us came to a comprimise on how we will do Training Lightsabers.

If you are under the rank of Dark Jedi Knight, but above the rank of Apprentice you are prime selection for someone who needs one of these sabers. A Training Saber is not as powerful or customized as a standard or custom lightsaber, and have many draw backs vs the sabers gained from DJK+ - but they are functioning lightsabers none the less and can be used in both fiction and eventually to display on your dossier. All training sabers are going to be handled by the HRLDs office, all hilts will be the same, you will be allowed to choose between a red, blue or purple blade to reflect your order. Training Lightsabers can infact fight against standard sabers, but after only an hour of combat they will be drained of energy and will fizzle out leaving you like Vader in that Energizer commercial. There are two settings for a Training Lightsaber, Stun and Lethal. When placed on Lethal energy drains quickly and the charge will only be useful for up to 40 kills. If on stun you can disable up to 140 people.

To obtain your Training Lightsaber all you have to do is visit the Shadow Academy site then take and pass both the G:LSC and G:LST courses. Once you've passed them you'll be granted permission to use a training lightsaber in fiction, DIE and eventually when lightsabers are once again displayed on dossiers, your training saber will be available to view there. I hope to see some interest in this because the requirements will not get any easier than this, and as time progresses I intend to add to the courses required for a Training Lightsaber. So get it done now while its very easy peeps!

Destavol Gin has been appointed Headmaster. Destavol hails from Validus and has been very active in working with fictional history, etc. in the Hetaeria. This in itself is something of a qualification for Headmaster, but he doesn't stop there. Dest has had been dying to improve the SA for some time now, and I have every confidence in him to do this.

Welcome to the Dark Council.

First let me give a big thanks to Grand Master Vah at giving me this opportunity, else I would not be speaking to the rest of you today. Its an honor to be on the Dark Council, and I'll be doing everything I can to fill the shoes of the HM, and help out with the Dark Brotherhood as a whole.

As the new Head Master I'll be working to finish some of the work required to keep the the Shadow Academy functioning at 100%, including updating the current coureses and adding a few new ones soon. I will also be speaking with the current Prof's of each course and may end up needing a few new ones so those of you that may be interested in some extra stuff to do and are interested in working with the SA be sure to keep your eyes open for any requests for Profs. I've already had a couple of people ask for the jobs of P:HM and M:HM, and for now both of these positions are not going to be filled. This is only temporary though as I'm sure I may end up needing a Magistrate or Praetor to help me with some of the work. I'd appreciate if you guys would hold off on applications for now as I will have some requirements for both the P:HM and M:HM jobs when ever they do become available. There will most likely be more details about the PROF positions in my first report this coming Friday.

On a final note I will go ahead and announce that the Phase 2 will be coming together to one larger course. Over the years the Brotherhood has adapted to the point that Orders have become very cross skilled, we have Obelisk that write poetry, we have Sith that play JA and JO, and have Krath that fly XWA. Thus the idea of 'what separates the Orders' has become quite complex and complicated. This should be done soon, and once done I'll be moving on to updating some of the older courses. Once I get everything rolling with the updates, then I will be moving on to my personal projects and ideas I have for the SA, and this will be when I will pry be needing a Praetor or Magistrate. Well that about sums it up, thanks again to Czul for the chance to serve here, and I hope to live up to some of our greatest HMs of history.

The time comes for everyone. Today, it is a day that I shall leave the Dark Brotherhood.

The struggle with myself in recent months resulted in my failure as a leader, as a Master and as a Member of the Dark Brotherhood. I realised I am no longer useful for you and the Dark Brotherhood. My time and glory have passed away with two great Clans – Alvaak and Arcona. Thus, please accept my immediate resignation from active service.

One day, I shall return to what remains of the Dark Brotherhood and I will do my best to serve the Dark Brotherhood under any circumstances I will encounter. Either I see it surpasses its past glory or falls in ruines.

Before I leave, I would like to thank all of you for your friendship, help and work. Czul, Death, Hades, Dempsey, Max, Desann, Blade, Keth, Jorm and Dante. Without you, I would not achieve what I did. Thank you.

My special thanks goes to Az, Aija and Z. You have been my mainstay in recent months. Without you, I would surrender and leave much, much earlier. The awards I recommended for you shall appear on your profiles soon.

So I started playing JA again yesterday. I was rather disappointed to hear we haven't had a lot of organized JA going on as of late, which I'd like to change. That being said, I'd like to start at least one competition by next week. Please check out this MB post and vote.

We're fortunate enough to be allowed to use a server of Horus Blackheart's, the info for which you can find on the Servers Page. Don't worry, I'll be expanding the page as time goes on. I'm hoping to see more EH servers up for a few different platforms in time.

Now, let's go get our CF counts higher than Blade's!
