It's a protect-the-platform mission, although arguably it should have had some threat to the shuttle as well to have some real bite. Pretty easy time.
No nonsense protect the disabled platform mission. Could have potentially done with more interesting enemy fighter orders (Gold Sqdn and the Z-95's attack the platform, with no protection from any other unit, meaning its a straight up turkey shoot). No enemies seem to care about the repair shuttle (meaning its protection can be ignorded) and ordinance setup (Judging by other reviews, basic concussion missiles for the player on a TIE Advanced is not considered great, and the Z-95's are reliant on strafing runs against a platform, making them useless)
Pretty underwhelming mission really - easy to complete, but with a little more thought, could have been much better - enemy star-fighters seem only interested in taking on the platform, while attacking the crucial shuttle would have made this much more challenging I think.
A interesting battle for the inflight messages alone, someone needs a better choice of vocabulary! The mission itself is relatively easy and not challenging at all to win in short order. Multiple flights of X-Wings and Z-95's to destroy but otherwise they do not target the mission critical shuttle.
Kill lots of fighters that really is all there is to it for this mission. Then the shuttle will complete its mission and that is all. Some people may give you ellaborate reviews but that is the down and dirty of the mission.
Some of the FG orders seem a bit suspect. I will return to refly this one at some point and re-evaluate my grading but for now, it sits comfortably at a 2. The shuttle itself was never under any threat but will give it another go on hard at a later date.
Interesting simple mission. Dogfight some X-Ws and protect a PLT and a SHU. Weird thing is enemies have a death wish for the Platform and I counted 5 rebels suiciding themselves crashing onto the sturdy facility. Worth a try
A super easy mission. I don't think I was even shot at once. As other reviews have said, it would be a great introductory mission for newcomers to TC. I did encounter what I believe to be a bug late on in the mission. I do not believe it was by design, to have a flight of X-Wings hyper into the area and kamikaze straight into the platform...
This is a great mission for the new recurits like SL and some LT it teaches you how to use wingman. But still this is not a good mission for the Top Guns out their
Too easy!! No challenge whatsoever. Good for an FCHG point though I suppose :P
Poor mission construction.
Can be I think . . . It's kind of a boring I say - just destroy fighters attacking platform! They even do not attack you - too easy!
Battle Bug Reports

Late in the mission, the last flight of X-Wings hyper'd into the area and flew straight into the platform. I do not believe this was by design as they did not specifically target the platform on their CMD.
