One line mission briefings, clashing ships, secondary mission goals that do not show up and yeah, fighting a squadron of A-Wings in a Gunboat.

Boring and repetative. Mission 5 sets on half way of mission 4 again and the 2 cruisers you've just destroyed are back. There's also no relation to the mission briefing.

Quick little battle with simply structured straight forward missions. There is a little story line as well.

On a positive note, I like the idea of doing short hyper jumps. You can see the ships from afar and fly the 50 units on regular engines or hyper there - just like in Wing Commander. Unfortunately, that's it. The rest is buggy. Mission 1 & 4 give you victory messages even though the mission is not complete and you will fail when you quit then.

DO NOT PLAY. It starts out good and goes down hill from there. You fly a Gunboat for reconnaissance - ok that's completely pointless. All power to engines and mag pulses for the cap ships you're supposed to inspect. But mission 5 is completely broken - you fullfill the mission goals means you fail. If you follow the hint the mission still crashed about 15 times on me. Or Immortal exploded itself w/o visible outer influence after being disabled. Crash crash crash crash. I tired for about 3h. Then I switched to easy and at the attempt it didn't crash it was done in less then 2min. What's up with the story? I do not know.

Solid story line and very versitile missions. Great battle! And yes, the TIE-Praetor is a power fantasy. Lot's of fun to fly.

Nice battle w/ a good variation in missions. However it is a bit unbalanced. While most missions are not that hard, mission 2 is very hard. One of those where you have to have a perfect timing and basically have to know what happens next and be in the right place. For mission 5 its hard to get all secondary goals.
