Fairly basic mission, but it does include some new ideas which includes having to pick up pilots that bailed out of their fighter and having capital ships moving faster than Tie Defenders.
Nice battle. I give a 5 because so far, this is the only battle on the mission compedium that has a variable ending that depends solely on decisions you make in previous battles.
Differnt type of storyline. As for the confusing objectives in the last mission, they are supposed to be confusing. When you fly it, think like a real pilot who has to make a decision on what orders to follow.
I didn't fly this mission, but I am going to rate it as high as I can. Why? If you are going to attack someone's work, then have the decency and courage to use your own words...don't copy off of someone else just because you are upset.
I got to give it credit for an original idea for a mission. Does get a little repetitive after a while though.BTW, ignore the bug reports below.....that's the way the mission is designed so you can figure out what is causing the "time loop."
Well, it was the very FIRST battle I made, so it isn't as good as some of my later ones. Other than the one bug, it is OK. I give it a 3 just because you get to pilot a wide variety of craft in it.
Whoever made this battles needs his head examined! Why would you put a pilot in an unshielded craft!? Because it is a lot of fun. A lot of research went into this mission to make it historically accurate, and the debriefings worked well. It is not easy, but it is definitely worth it.
