It was cold, the bitter wind bit at the parts of exposed skin on the young humans body. Yet he remained motionless on the hillside. He was sprawled out, legs splayed out behind him with his inner ankles touching the ground. Unless he suddenly had to move or was walked on by something his target would not see him. Between the training instilled in him by his mother and father at a young age, and that reinforced by his stint in the Hammer's Fist prior to their disbanding, his target only had minutes to live.
When he graduated secondary school he expressed interest in the Emperor's Hammer Elite Corps of Stormtroopers to his father who was a Vice Admiral. He had to endure 2 years as a standard shock trooper in the ordinary trooper corps before he was able to prove his worthiness to be accepted into the Legion. While primarily a standard infantry trooper, he had done extensive training with a sniper rifle, both blaster and slugthrower. In this instance he was using a favored slugthrower so that the resulting sound would scare the beasts surrounding his prey's compound before his marks guards could calm the beasts enough to locate him. He had been carefully monitoring the mans habits for days now. After a hard day of running his spice cartel the man always went outside for a dip in the hot springs on the property.
That was his fatal mistake.
A gentle squeeze on the trigger mechanism caused a chemical explosion in the gun propelling the .50 caliber round past the speed of sound, it stayed at that speed for 2 kilometers until it drastically slowed down in the mans now fatally wounded body. Just as expected the loud crack followed by the man falling into the water sent the beasts of burden into a bit of a frenzy. Grabbing his rifle, former Lance Corporal Liam Stephens began to run parallel to the hillside until he came around the other side away from his targets compound. He threw off the camo and sensor baffle netting on the speeder, jumped on the bike and sped off.
Two Standard Days later.
His pockets were considerably heavier with credits, though the alcohol served on Aurora Prime was beginning to lighten his stash, and mood. With a slight smile at how well life was, he realized he was being watched. A tall scarred man came and sit down at the seat next to him. Putting his hand inside his jacket on the small holdout blaster he looked at the stranger.
"Seats taken sir, I would advise you find another space. My girl gets cranky when people decide to sit to close." Liam said calmly as he sipped on the drink with his free hand.
"I'm not here for a drink, was just paid to deliver a message to you. The sender wishes you the best on your latest hunts, but would like to inform you that he is looking for a new Car. He also said that Ida would be there." With that the man ordered a drink and walked off after receiving it and paying the bartender.
With a sigh he let go of his blaster and picked his comm up. Hitting the key for a certain holonet frequency he got his fathers voice mail.
"Hi Dad, I got your message, Ill meet you on New Carida in 72 hours. Watch your back." and he stopped the transmission.
I guess its time to get the old dress uniform out of storage. It was time for a new era of the Legion it seemed. Good timing, he was getting tired of killing this easy prey. …

Description:

Your are tasked with traveling to the City of Juraas-Kur, finding those asking questions, and ascertaining what their ultimate goal is.
